Thank you for your interest in participating in the third annual Beyond the Bell Training of Trainers!  We are excited to have you join us. This two-day opportunity will prepare you to facilitate Beyond the Bell trainings to use in your community. We will introduce you to the Toolkit, provide guidance on how to use it as a training resource, and arm you with a host of materials that you can use for your own personalized trainings. You will leave as a certified Beyond the Bell trainer.

As a trainer, you will be able to:

  • Build your expertise in the field of afterschool and expanded learning
  • Meet other afterschool leaders through our Beyond the Bell trainer network
  • Facilitate Beyond the Bell trainings for afterschool staff in your community

Training Dates: November 9-10, 2016

Training Times: The training will run from 9:00am-5:00pm ET on November 9 and 9:00am-3:30pm ET on November 10.  

Location: Washington, D.C.

Cost: Register by September 30, 2016 to take advantage of our early bird registration rate of $1,100 per person. Standard registration pricing is $1,500 after September 30, 2016.

Cost Includes: One copy of Beyond the Bell: A Toolkit for Creating Effective Afterschool and Expanded Learning Programs (4th edition); a flash drive containing all 96 ready-to-use Beyond the Bell  tools in word format; breakfast and lunch both days; a full set of training materials for six training sessions (e.g., PowerPoint slide decks, agendas, and handouts); online access to future training materials; and certification as a Beyond the Bell trainer. Please note that you must attend the full 2 days in order to become a certified Beyond the Bell trainer.

Attendees are responsible for their own travel costs, including airfare, hotel, dinner, and ground transportation.
